The Nordic delegates were especially vocal in advocating for the engagement and inclusion of European nursing students within EFN, ensuring the voices of future nurses are central to decision-making.

EFN members approved critical Policy Statements on co-designing the EU Health and Care Workforce Strategy, supporting ethical recruitment, strengthening nurses’ economic power, and leveraging digital tools to enhance patient care. These discussions are essential to advancing the EFN Strategic and Operational Lobby Plan (SOLP) 2021-2027, aiming to influence EU policy for a resilient health system, economic prosperity, and social justice.
